Spanish classes for children with Maestra Blanca Valenzuela Research has shown that a child’s window of opportunity for language Is from birth to 7 yrs of age and by using fun & playful ways of teaching another language your child will absorb and learn the Spanish language in a natural way. In this fun Spanish emersion class your child will learn the colors, numbers 1-20, counting, alphabet, animals, shapes, the seasons and much more! With the use of fun props such as maracas, puppets, a giant colored parachute they will dance to Latin music and have Story & Poetry time with Lito el Sapito! They will also meet Juanita & Pepito, our class marionettes!

Being American born and educated in America but raised in Mexicali, Baja Ca, Mexico was Blanca’s advantage to learning, speaking and understanding two languages fluently and feeling privileged to do so. She received her bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts with two minors one in Spanish and the other in Psychology from San Diego State University in 1991 and 1992. When moving back to her native Mexico, she taught at UABC Universidad Autonoma in Baja (State University of Baja California, Mexicali, Branch) and simultaneously at the prestigious Mexican Private University, Cety’s Universidad (Centro de Enesenanza Tecnica y Superior, Mexicali, Mexico Branch) both at their language Department for over 6 years. She moved to San Diego, Ca to further her education on Child Psychology. Blanca has over 16 years experience in teaching both the Spanish and English languages to adults and children. After becoming a mother of two young children it has been a passion & joy to adapt her knowledge on teaching the Spanish language in early childhood.
